Philadelphia's Local Emergency Planning Committee

PLEPC Logo 
The Philadelphia Local Emergency Planning Committee (PLEPC) is responsible for developing a comprehensive chemical emergency response plan for the City of Philadelphia.
 
The PLEPC also provides information on chemical hazards and emergency plans to Philadelphians. 
 
Members of the PLEPC include local agencies such as the fire and police departments, emergency medical services, health agencies, local civic and environmental groups, and the owners of industrial facilities.
 


PLEPC Meetings

The general and executive meetings will be held quarterly on the fourth Thursday of the first month of the quarter at the Fire Administration Building 240 Spring Garden St. at 10:30 am - 12:00 pm in the auditorium for general meeting and conference room for executive meetings.
