It's important to prepare yourself, your family and your loved-ones for the hazards Philadelphia faces. You are responsible for having an emergency plan, storing emergency supplies in your home, knowing how to Shelter-in-Place and how to evacuate.

The Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management recommends that every household have an Emergency Plan, a Shelter-in-Place Kit, and a Go Bag. If you have pets or a person in your home with special needs, ensure that they are included in your emergency planning.
