Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Business Continuity Workshop

The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce hosted the Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management as they presented their Business Continuity Workshop on Wednesday, September 16 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at 200 S. Broad St., Suite 700.

September is National Preparedness Month and this program provided Philadelphia-specific information on evacuation plans, Center City and University City High-Rise Office evacuation rally points, Philadelphia's Corporate Emergency Access System (a pre-disaster credentialing system that permits essential employees access to businesses after an emergency) and ReadyNotifyPA, an emergency text alert system that allows individuals and businesses to stay informed during an emergency. It also provided a step-by-step Business Continuity Toolkit for all workshop participants in order to help them stay in business in the event of an emergency.
