In recognition of National Preparedness Month, National Fire Safety Month, and Campus Safety Month, Temple University hosted 30 agencies at the Bell Tower on September 28, 2009. Agencies offered information and giveaways to promote preparedness efforts.
At noon, special guest Craig Fugate, administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) talked with students about the importance of being prepared for emergencies.
The purpose of the fair is to help everyone understand that while you can’t prevent a hurricane or a flu pandemic, there are little things that you can do to keep yourself from being impacted.
